Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali

"Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee..."

Hey ! this is Esar,

This is the first post of me writing about someone, and is about the greatest of all time. I don't know a lot about boxing, but this Legend got me in the end. What i knew about Muhammad Ali before is a lot of people call him the greatest, but after his death, i began to look to all of his achievements just to encourage my self to know he's the greatest. After hours, days, and week of watching his videos (matchs, interviews, speeches, etc), i believe he is the greatest athlete in any sport ever. He's not afraid to nobody, he's not afraid risking his career for standing up to what he believes, he's not afraid to go to jail by saying the truth. That kind of mindset and all of his athletic ability of Muhammad Ali, that set him apart from every great athlete ever born. He was the greatest, he is the greatest.

Why did a person call himself "the greatest of all time" before he was the greatest, and suddenly became the greatest of all time? no great people would ever say that, unless they're already the greatest. But Ali, he say it even before he was the greatest, and he knew exactly that that's gonna happen. I think confidence that he build since he was 12 years old plays the big role, he was sure of that.

These are the list every great things i think that separate him among any other great athletes:
1. His influential participation in political views and humanity as well as equality of rights
2. His consistency on what he stands up
3. His fearless to say anything he think is right, no matter what he would risk (life, money, family, etc)
4. He doesn't fear to nobody

5 losses of Muhammad Ali :

1. Ken Norton, he broke ali's jaw in 1973 heavyweight champion
2. Joe Frazier, the first fight between Frazier and Ali in 1971, ali lost via unanimous decision
3. Leon Spinks, in 1978 made him snatched Ali's WBA/WBC heavyweight titles
4. Larry Holmes, made ali failed to snatch championship title for the fourth time in 1980
5. Trevor Berbick, he defeated Ali in Ali's last professional match in 1981.
